Easter Sunday and Monday Egg Festival

Every year, with the arrival of Spring, the Château Merville and its grounds open their doors to visitors, and particularly to children and chocolate-lovers.

To celebrate Easter in an off-beat but nevertheless traditional way, 50,000 chocolate eggs will be hidden, as every year, in the 6 km of box hedge on Easter Sunday and Monday 2006, to the delight of children and adults alike.

Easter Sunday and Monday:

  • Opening times: 10.30 – 19.00
  • Ticket office closes at 18.00

The Maze

Heritage Open Days

3rd weekend in September

Every year, to celebrate the heritage open days on the 3rd weekend in September, we invite you come to the authentic setting of the Château de Merville and its grounds to see an exhibition and demonstrations of craft trades linked to the restoration of buildings and antique furniture (Ironwork, upholstery, restoration of paintings, etc...)
